“When I’m done with him, he’s going to start making sense,” says Stephen Colbert as he introduces this interview with former Talking Heads singer David Byrne. The pair discuss streaming music online, Byrne’s lyrics and the singer’s extracurricular activities outside the music world.
Byrne also performs a song from his latest album, Everything That Happens Will Happen Today, and Colbert amusingly encourages him to stop innovating and become more ordinary. Byrne is also required to answer one of the deepest questions Colbert has ever asked: “Who does David Byrne fear David Byrne is?”
I wish Colbert could interview Byrne for hours.
That was one great interview. Never ever would have thought such topics would be covered in such a short time period. Definitely, a longer time would be better!

I actually thought Byrne was quite befuddled by Stephen's questions... It was odd to see him at a loss for words.
