Those you keeping up with David Banner's album release schedule have probably been confused by the fact he's announced projects named Mr. D Banner and MTA 3: The Trinity Movement in the past year. Well, here's another one to add to the bunch: The Make Believe Album. The thing about this album title, though, is that it comes with a lead single in "Swag," a track that bangs as hard as it educates. After making it clear he's a teacher and not a preacher, Banner goes in over a heavy backdrop of 808s and stuttering synthesizers courtesy of co-producer Swiff D. It all makes for a slightly less in-your-face version of Killer Mike's "Burn" with some extra boom.
The Make Believe Album is due out some time this year.
