Here are the visuals for "Strange," the first track to receive the video treatment off David Banner's upcoming Death of a Pop Star project with producer 9th Wonder. And "Strange" is a slight sonic departure for all involved. Banner and guest Big Remo are spitting on a more intellectual tip and 9th has crafted a spacier beat than what we have heard from him before. The beat is definitely full of his trademark sample chopping, but something about it is smoother.
The video, on the other hand, feels like a rushed slideshow job, which brings to mind the "official" video made for Mos Def's "Life In Marvelous Times." The visuals match the topics brought up throughout the lyrics, but it's not that entertaining after the first viewing. At least the song's good, though.
