Das Racist: 'Shut Up, Dude' (Mixtape)
Oddball hip-hoppers Das Racist linked up with Brooklyn-based clothing line Mishka to present their first mixtape, Shut Up, Dude. The 17-track project of stoner anthems features a mix of old and new tracks from the duo, including the Sick Animation-esque "Hugo Chavez" and lyrically schizophrenic "Rainbow in the Dark." As wild, weird, and off-the-wall as these guys can get, especially in concert, Das Racist's quirky take on hip-hop is, if nothing else, supremely entertaining.
