Danielson: "Grow Up"
The first track, "Grow Up", off the forthcoming LP from Danielson isn't all that matured as the title may suggest. Or at least, it’s not a far cry from previous efforts we've heard from the weirdo, folk Christians its okay to like. Unlike their buddy, Sufjan Stevens, Danielson has kept things preciously poppy with ringing bells and triumphant strums of an acoustic guitar while Daniel Smith retains his cartoonish, yet undeniably recognizable squeal/yelp vocal stylings. Despite it having been five-years since a new release, Danielson has kept to form for better or worse.
