Daniel Rossen: "Golden Mile" (Radio Rip)
There’s still some time to wait until Grizzly Bear’s Daniel Rossen releases his solo EP Silent Hour/Golden Mile—the record is due on Warp on March 20. But we’re slowly getting to hear what it sounds like, with this leak of “Saint Nothing” now followed by a radio rip of the track “Golden Mile.” This was aired on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic, which you can check out below or hear the Rossen track on its own over at BPM. It begins by sounding like it’s going to go into the Beatles’ “Dear Prudence” before settling into more familiar Rossen-esque territory, with a few George Harrison-style guitar breaks laced into the mix.
