Dan Deacon: "Paddington Ghost" (Video)

These are busy times for Baltimorean Dan Deacon. Fresh from an astounding ‘round robin’ tour with Deerhunter and No Age, Deacon is about to drop hos Bromst band again and hit the road for a solo tour. He has also released this charmingly low budget video for the track “Paddington Ghost.”

Hand puppets and toys are the stars of the show here—imagine a cross between Lawrence of Arabia and Peter Jackson’s Meet the Feebles, with a little Pirates of the Caribbean action thrown in for good measure. Deacon even gets his own puppet, who surfaces toward the end of the clip.
