Dam-Funk: "WeCoolerDanNem"
He might not be doing the weekly free release thing like a lot of other artists, but Dam-Funk still provides us with plenty of complimentary tunes. His latest is a pretty big departure from the straight-outta-the-'80s tracks we have heard from him lately. "WeCoolerDanNem" is a lo-fi journey made for Sunday afternoons spent in the sun. As such, it feels out of place for those of us not enjoying the sunny weather he is in Los Angeles. That being said, it does bring a little bit of warmth to the coldness I'm personally experiencing in the Northeast. And it's kind of just awesome to hear him go off for nearly four minutes on the keys.
