The Oki-Ni website occasionally throws up a series of mixes by prominent talents—just check out this set by Primal Scream/My Bloody Valentine collaborator/remixer Andy Weatherall from earlier this year. Now, Dâm-Funk has been asked to come up with the goods for the online boutique and art and pop culture outlet. "All songs were taken from the original wax pressings,” says Dâm-Funk. “No MP3s or computer files were used for this mix... This mix is what I simply listen to on any given day, while living life. It's a pleasure to share these tracks with my new Oki-Ni friends. I own all of these records. No fake shit or fads; just the truth." Check out the Truth mix here or in the clip below, which features a typically eclectic selection of records, including cuts by Prince, Prefab Sprout and JEFF the Brotherhood.
