Dam-Funk: "Step Into My Zone"
You love Dam-Funk? Well, guess what? He loves you, too. At least, it certainly seems that way from the flurry of free music he shares with his fans. After doling out the rad InnaFocusedDaze EP last week, the Los Angeles funkmaster has been digging through his crates to give us even more gratis tuneage. The latest is "Step into My Zone," a track that stems from a 2006 studio and glides by like a synthesizer-guided trip through outer space. According to Dam, he found the track today "in a black milk crate full of CD spools of joints." Here's hoping he decides to let loose more of those unearthed gems of funk.
