It's hard to tell if Dam-Funk is really just some serious performance art, or if this dude just really digs old-school boning R&B and walked out of 1984 with his love in tact. Either way, dude is damn entertaining: Watch him work the ivories and sing "Fly Away With Me" in this Pitchfork TV special presentation. He plays in an old hotel, which is basically the perfect locale. I feel like he should be playing this in the hotel in a late-70s Richard Pryor movie. [P4K]
