Correct me if I'm wrong, but Cypress Hill's "Armada Latina" is the first hip-hop song I can think of that samples Crosby, Stills and Nash's "Suite Judy Blue Eyes." It makes this pretty rote ode to all things Latina with Pitbull a little less rote, even if it has more Spainglish than a middle school spanish class. The most gangster thing here though? A Steven Stills cameo. Dude is so hood, etc. He clearly is a crip, given the color of his tie-dye shirt. I assumed he'd be MS-13.
Cypress Hill's Rise Up is due out on April 20.
