Curren$y: "You See It"
Curren$y is back with another cut off his forthcoming Weekend at Burnie's album, which is his first proper release since signing with Warner Bros. "You See It" also the follow-up to lead single "She Don't Want a Man," a track that seems to have set the pace for what should be another jazzy, chill-as-fuck record. The big difference here, though, is that "You See It" is not quite as hazy as its predecessor. It's also less narrative-driven and more focused on Spitta's stream-of-conscious look at his daily affairs, which include having a lady bring him a bong in only her panties. Anyone else hear a Ghostface/DOOM-ish quality here?
