Curren$y: "Money Machine"
Next week is looking pretty solid and varied in terms of hip-hop releases. For one, Big Sean's hit-packed Finally Famous is hitting stores after a slew of delays while Shabazz Palaces is dropping one of the best albums of the year thus far with Black Up. Not to be outdone, Curren$y makes his Warner Bros. debut next Tuesday with Weekend At Burnie's, which sounds like it's further expanding that super-chill atmosphere heard on last year's two Pilot Talk releases. At least, that's my assumption after hearing the latest leak, "Money Machine," a jazzy, aural treat for your ears courtesy of Monsta Beatz. They produced the majority of Burnie's and, if the leaks are any indication, they are sure to gain some serious attention once the album is released.
