"Hard as They Come," the second single from the CunninLynguists forthcoming Oneirology album, represents the third collaboration between the trio and Freddie Gibbs. He previously appeared on "Imperial," off their Strange Journey Vol. 2 release, and then Kno returned the favor by producing "The Coldest," off Gibbs' Str8 Killa EP.
Both tracks represented a strong sense of teamwork that went beyond Gibbs merely serving as a guest MC. You got the feeling that these guys really just enjoyed working together. And that vibe continues here on "Hard as They Come," an introspective cut with a cinematic flair armed with killer verses from Gibbs, Natti, and Kno. This song is also the first part of a two-part series of tracks on Oneirology, with the second featuring Big K.R.I.T. as a guest.
Oneirology is due out March 22. You can stream the track below and download it off Bandcamp.
