CSS: Rat Is Dead (Video)

Apparently, CSS are wiling to let the electro-clash/hip-hop/new-wave smash-up vibe of their first album to die, as “Rat is Dead” (from the band’s upcoming sophomore LP Donkey) is way more new-wave leaning. Lovefoxx floats her vocals over the band’s propulsive riffing, sounding like Debbie Harry if she was from Brazil, and looks like some kind of peacock.

Donkey is out on 7/22 on Sub Pop. [Stereogum]
