Art bitches, Paris Hilton, and Death From Above. São Paulo’s Cansei de Ser Sexy picked some unusual subject matter to sing about on their debut album. So what has caught Lovefoxxx’s attention in the months leading up to the release of their second record? There’s no sign of a loving ode to her fiancé, Simon Taylor-Davis from the Klaxons, just yet. Instead, “Rat Is Dead” finds Lovefoxxx singing about a friend who has been slighted by a lover, with the band supplying a surprisingly guitar-heavy backing that suggests CSS may be heading away from the electro-pop sound of its first record. Their second album, titled Donkey, is released on Sub Pop on July 22.

I agree daba, "Alala" and "Lets make love" were some great songs. This one not as much. |

Didn't hit me as much as some of the bigger songs off their last album.
