Biophilia may not have garnered the most positive reaction of Bjork’s career, but this clip from Jools Holland’s show suggests she may have more success with the material in a live setting. “Crystalline” really comes alive here, in both the music and performance, with Bjork flanked by a dancing all-female choir and decked out in the gigantic wig from the video for this song. The backing is full of delicately woven glass-like shapes, which simply function to let all the vocal harmonies slowly swamp the track until the Squarepusher-like coda beats you over the head at the end. This is one of the most unique Jools Holland clips you’ll see in this series of the show, check it out below.
