Crystal Stilts: Prismatic Room (Video)

I saw Stars about a year ago at the Vic Theatre here in Chicago, and singer Torquil Campbell said something along the lines of, "Start a band with your friends. You don't need to know how to play any instruments or anything, just look cool and the rest will follow." I don't really know anything about the formation of Brooklyn's Crystal Stilts,  but his video for "Prismatic Room" makes it seem as if that is absolutely true; as if the force of you "banding together" with a small group of buddies creates sunny, drowsy-lipped, clanging, guitar-pop and grainy 80s-looking footage all by itself, just to document the power of your comraderie. This video was directed by Army of Kids.
