For all of the bands that have played Pitchfork TV’s Don’t Look Down, none have actually addressed the streets below, or climbed the walls of the building. Garage-psych-rockers Crystal Antlers, recent Touch & Go signees, are the first, as lead singer Jonny Bell yells “Wake up motherfuckers! Free music! Free Love!” to the mostly-empty New York City streets before his band launches into “Until the Sun Dies.” During the fiery performance, Bell climbs a wall and his guitarist looks on (moderately) concerned. The band also play “Untitled,” a new song that doesn’t appear on their EP, EP.
EP is out now via Touch & Go. [Pitchfork TV]
