London sister act 2:54 returned this week with another single from their forthcoming full-length. The new track is called “Creeping” and it’s a heavy, distorted affair driven by some shoegazey vocals and fuzzy, Sonic Youth-esque guitar work. The track was mixed and produced by Alan Moulder, whose previous credits range from the Jesus and Mary Chain to the Smashing Pumpkins to Yeah Yeah Yeahs. “Creeping” comes from 2:54’s self-titled debut LP, due out May 28 via Fat Possum with a “Creeping” single backed by “The March” out on June 18.

In other 2:54 news, the girls will be opening for the XX at the second in a forthcoming series of shows on May 15 in London. Then in June, 2:54 will tour the North America with support from Widowspeak. They’ll play shows on both coasts, in Chicago and Minneapolis and around Canada. That tour includes a special Prefix-sponsored show at New York City’s Mercury Lounge on June 11 with Widowspeak, the Denzels and Indian Rebound. Listen to “Creeping” and take a look at the band’s full tour schedule below.
