Consequence is on a bit of a pissed-off roll as of late. Well, kind of. You see, his frustration with rappers today only really works when it's delivered through a blanket statement like "Crying Broke." It didn't hurt that the beat for that track was some early '90s-type-shit, either, but he and guests Elzhi and Rapper Big Pooh sounded pretty good together.
On this latest frustration-fueled joint, though, Cons just falls flat. Throughout "The Plagiarist Society," dude's going right at the throat of former G.O.O.D. Music labelmate Pusha T, who Cons claims stole rhymes from him. Whether or not Pusha actually did jack those bars remains up to him to clarify, though I doubt we'll ever hear a response. You know, like we probably won't hear a response from Kanye West if Cons disses him next, which he is apparently planning on doing. We'll see.
Consequence's Movies On Demand 3 is due out soon.
