Company Flow: "N2N Burners" (Lost Mix)
When you release a definitive and classic album like Funcrusher Plus, you don't really need to keep dropping music to remain in forefront of music lovers' brains. At least, that's the case for Company Flow -- the trio of Big Juss, Mr. Len, and El-P -- who will play their first shows together in 10 years next month. We already knew they were playing Portishead's ATP festival on July 23, but it was revealed yesterday that they will warm-up for that gig with a Santos House Party on July 16 in Brooklyn. To celebrate these concerts, El-P has dug up a rare, previously "lost" mix of Co Flow's "End to End Burners," which has been renamed "N2N Burners." It's not quite as amazing as the funky-but-raw original, but anything from the Co Flow vaults is more than welcome.
