Oh boy, how heartwarming would this have been if it had happened in 2000 when Common and Erykah Badu were still together? During a performance of Common's "The Light" at SXSW, where Common was already joined onstage by Kanye West playing hype man, Common surprised the audience by bringing onstage Erykah Badu, to whom many believe the song is addressed. After it's over they both break into freestyles, and maybe I'm late, but Erykah Badu freestyles?
