Common and N.E.R.D. are out on tour right now, and being that Pharrell helped produce Common’s yet-upcoming Universal Mind Control (formerly Invincible Summer), he has been joining Common on stage during the tour. On Sunday in L.A., the two debuted a new track, which we have to assume is on UMC, called “The Eye.”

The song is a laid-back number about a girl giving you the eye from across the bar, with Pharrell laying on the heavy, sloppy, R&B chorus. Common and Pharrell trade the one mic onstage, in between going to the bar that’s part of the stage set-up.  [Nahright]
