Common: "Next Time (Just Wright Version)" f. Queen Latifah
"Next Time" was initially labeled as a leftover cut from the studio sessions for Common's2007 LP, Finding Forever. But now the track, which features the parenthetical "Just Wright Version," is being officially released as a means of double-down marketing. It arrives just in time to help promote Common and Queen Latifah's upcoming Just Wright film and the Chicago MC's Go! Common Classics greatest hits compilation. And the Queen even jumped on the re-done hook for some mild-mannered vocals while Common has provided new verses for the Kanye West beat.
"Next Time," which you can stream here, still works as a bonus cut for your iTunes version of Finding Forever. Or you can wait to grab the track when it drops officially May 25 with the rest of Go! Common Classics.
