Common: "Ghetto Dreams" F. Nas (Prod. No I.D.)
All you Common fans -- myself included -- who felt cheated following the release of 2008's Universal Mind Control can safely ditch that emotion. Well, for the time being, at least, because the first single off his forthcoming The Dreamer, The Believer has leaked and good lord is it a doozy. "Ghetto Dreams" features Com rapping over a gritty No I.D. production with the same tenacity we haven't heard since Be and, to a lesser extent, Finding Forever. It also happens to include a stellar guest verse from Nas, who clearly has a fire lit under him if this track and "Nasty" are any indication. Things are definitely looking good for hip-hop fans this fall, which is the tentative release date of The Dreamer, The Believer.
