When we saw that Common was performing on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night, we assumed that he just had to be backed by the Roots. And, sure enough, the frequent collaborators teamed up once again for the Chicago rapper's performance of "Celebrate." The track stems from Com's recently released The Dreamer/The Believer, aka his best album in nearly seven years.
And even though he had a slew of singles to choose from to perform -- he literally released like six tracks to the web before the album dropped -- he made the best choice in "Celebrate." It's the record's upbeat, fun-loving anthem, and what better way to close out a late-night show than with a party? Peep the performance below. [MWP]
