Coliseum: "Blind In One Eye"
Temporary Residence Ltd. has unveiled the first song from Coliseum's upcoming album and label debut, House With A Curse.
The track finds the Louisville, KY trio forgoing their usual Motorhead-meets-Discharge attack in favor of a molasses-thick groove that might actually be considered a deadly weapon in some states, some of singer/guitarist Ryan Patterson's catchiest riffs to date, and a chorus that defines the term "instantly memorable." Of course, by that, I just mean that it's the title of the song shouted over and over again.
House With A Curse is set to be released on June 22nd, and features production from J. Robbins, in addition to an appearance by Will Oldham (Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Palace).
