Colin Stetson: Feedback Interview (Video)
Colin Stetson is one of many artists heading to Asbury Park, NJ, this weekend for the first ATP Festival to be staged there. His New History Warfare Vol. 2: Judges was mostly recorded live, so if you’ve heard that you’ve already got a good idea of how his bass saxophone sounds play out. Here on Feedback Stetson talks about his working methods, including his time spent playing with Tom Waits, and how it felt to open for Arcade Fire in Mexico City. Performing in Asbury Park will be a different kind of experience to those shows, but anyone heading out there would be foolish not to check out his remarkable sound. [via CoS]
