“Paradise” is the second single to be released from Coldplay’s forthcoming Mylo Xyloto, and it was also the band’s song of choice on David Letterman’s show last night (Sept. 20). Anyone wondering about the pronunciation of “Xyloto” should check out the host’s intro, which precedes another slick run through of the overwrought sound Coldplay has finely crafted over the years. It doesn’t look like we’re going to get much in the way of new directions on that new record, but with seven Grammys to their name and 50 million album sales under their belts, that’s probably not surprising.
