Coldplay

"Lost" f. Jay-Z (Grammys 2009 - Video)

Average Rating: 6.50

On tape, the Jay-Z-featuring version of Coldplay's "Lost" is superfluous--Jay-Z's verses seem tacked on and don't really add much to the song. But in a live setting, it kind of works since it amps up the anticipation even if the song isn't that great--take this performance of the song at the Grammy's where Coldplay frontman Chris Martin played the song solo, and Jay-Z seemingly appears out of the mist to do his verse and disappear. It certainly lent the song some enthusiasm that was lacking when Martin was alone. [World Star Hip-Hop]

Nice!!! I love the instruments used on this song! Everything about it! The lyrics, the story, the melody, the completeness of this song! But Chris' voice sounded tired from dancing. I wish he would stop moving to perform better.
