Cold Wars Kids: "Mine Is Yours" f. Mikey Rocks (Blended Babies Remix)
We're just two days removed from the announcement of Pulled Over By the Cops, an indie-rap super-group featuring the Cool Kids, Chip Tha Ripper, and Freddie Gibbs spitting over Blended Babies beats. And now we have a pseudo-collaboration between some of those acts. Blended Babies has remixed Cold War Kids' "Mine Is Yours" by chopping up the instrumentation and vocals, which now serve as the canvas for Mikey Rocks, of the Cool Kids. His rhymes aren't new, though, as we previously heard them on last year's "Bat Phone." As much as we could have used some newness from Rocks, this is still a pretty slick remix.
