Holy Gorbachev. While recovering from blogger backlash (good luck, Black Kids) Cold War Kids went off and learned how to play dance-punk. On “Something is Not Right With Me” (streaming now at their MySpace), a danceable, propulsive bass line (that I swear sounds a whole lot like this one) plods on its way as singer Nathan Willett shouts while trying to keep up. After a bridge that slows everything down, the band slog on until the song’s quick end. The track sounds faster than anything off the band’s debut, but is easily identifiable as CWK thanks to Willett’s distinctive shriek/holler.
The song is the first single from the band’s upcoming sophomore effort, Loyalty to Loyalty, which is out on September 23, via Downtown.

by the sounds of that track.....sounds like they ripped off Viva L'American Death Ray Music --- look it up
