Hot on the tails of their performance on Carson Daly , Cold War Kids performed on Jimmy Fallon on Friday, trotting out the dark and pulsating "Relief," the standout from their sophomore album, Loyalty to Loyalty . Fallon prefaces the performance with a shouting introduction that features a less than enthused cameo from Judah Friedlander, before Nathan Willett and company take over. Willett's falsetto is certainly an acquired taste, but after the shaky first few stanzas here, it falls in line with the groove-oriented track.
