Carson Daly really likes the Cold War Kids. Back in April, he had them on the show to perform “Hang Me Up to Dry.” This week, the band performed “Mexican Dogs,” which seems to have been taken from the same live recording as their last Carson Daly appearance.

“Mexican Dogs” is taken from their Loyalty to Loyalty album, and the track should be familiar to Gossip Girl fans, after it appeared in a Season Two episode of the show. The concept of having a band appear before a huge audience works really well on this artfully shot clip, and hopefully the Carson Daly producers have more of this in store for future episodes.
