All has been quiet on the Cold War Kids front since they got off tour last winter. Well, it seems the band have been in the studio recording a follow-up to their 2006 album Robbers & Cowards. And following in Beck’s footsteps, the band have released a YouTube video preview through RCRDLBL.

The track that’s featured in the one-minute clip is pretty solid; the sauntering and stomping percussion sounds like a B-side to “We Used to Vacation.”
The video promises the album will be out in September, right in time to coincide with the band going on a full U.S. jaunt.
