Sub Pop clearly has high hopes for the forthcoming CocoRosie album Grey Oceans, as the label is issuing a number of video teaser trailers to herald its release. A brief clip for the track “Smokey Taboo” has already been issued, and now here comes this video for “Trinity’s Crying”
It’s difficult to get a handle on how this track will pan out when it’s released in full—but it sounds sparse and full of the usual enigmatic vocals that the band has made its stock-in-trade over the past three CocoRosie records. Grey Oceans is set for release on May 11, with more trailers promised in the interim.
