Cleveland pop-punks Cloud Nothings are all set to mutate into emo-y post-punks on their Steve Albini-produced sophomore effort, Attack on Memory. The album streets Jan. 24 via Carpark. The third preview from the LP, "No Sentiment" keeps the Wipers, Thin Lizzy, and Black Sabbath comparisons going strong.
Major kudos must be doled out to Cloud Nothings frontman Dylan Baldi for going out on a limb and trying something fresh. He mostly suceeds. Check out "Stay Useless" in case you missed it the first time. [FADER]
