I'll say this about Clipse's "I'm Good:" Pharrell Williams certainly earned the money Columbia probably had to stuff in his pocket for his appearance on the track. He steps on every verse, moaning "yeah" about 567 times, and in the song's video, he mugs for the camera exactly like he did in the videos he did with Snoop and Jay-Z earlier this decade. After years of getting spit out and crapped on by the major label system, it's good to see Clipse feeling good, but they're exponentially more interesting when their songs are about how they feel they're disrespected than about how their dues are paid and now they can have pool parties in Hollywood.
Clipse's Till the Casket Drops is due out in October via Columbia.
