"Eyes on Me" is the third track from the upcoming third album from Clipse, Till the Casket Drops, to surface, and like "I'm Good," it doesn't inspire much confidence for the overall product. While Clipse's past musical successes (and hell, "Kinda Like a Big Deal") were reliant on booming, Spartan beats, the beat for "Eyes on Me" is a shiny, light hearted romp of a beat that is seemingly incongruous with the dope tales Clipse are typically telling (it's produced by the Neptunes, but I'm betting it was mostly a Pharrell creation, since Chad Hugo's beats are darker).
It also doesn't help that Keri Hilson, one of the most milquetoast R&B singers this side of Ciara is the hook girl for "Eyes on Me." Maybe it's a needed diversion to have an actual R&B singer on a Clipse song, but it still feels so out of place and minorly desperate. Maybe it's time to start talking about Clipse's Columbia deal making them complacent and hit-hungry. [NahRight]

Obviously this ubiquitous beat is the brainchild of Skateboard P. I think its shallow of you to allude so early in the game to the possibility that the "XXL" bearing duo has sold out for a hit. If I recall, this was the stamp of the album previous and, by merit, the ebb and flow of "Hell Hath.."
Really, stop hating, and just enjoy good music.
