Class Actress: "Weekend" (Video)
"Weekend" is the undeniable, monster highlight on Class Actress' debut LP, Rapprocher, an album full of monster synth highlights. The fact that the song has an identical message--the weekend is super rad-- to Rihanna's latest hit helps, but the collision of a massive hooks and synths that sound like they could collapse buildings is the real highlight. The song just got a sultry video to go along with it, and while they're not a whole lot happening here beyond some early '80s dancing and cavorting, it's still pretty perfect.
Rapprocher is out tomorrow via Carpark.
