“Clap” (Live on Kiss 100) (Video)

So, the bad news is that Pharoahe Monch’s third solo album, W.A.R. (We Are Renegades), has been delayed, yet again. This isn’t much of a shock to his longtime fans, who have watched his albums get pushed back time and time again. But we were hopeful that his signing with Duck Down would mean a more stable release schedule. Either way, we’ll have to wait until early 2011 to hear W.A.R. The good news, though, is that we have this pretty great live footage of him performing “Clap,” a soulful, hyper-lyrical track, in London’s Kiss 100 studio. Even with all these delays, Monch remains an extremely creative, forward-thinking individual, which you can hear throughout “Clap.” Here’s hoping we get an mp3 of this soon.
