Citay: "Mirror Kises" (ft. tUne-YaRdS)

Come Jan. 26, Dead Oceans will be putting out Dream Get Together, the latest album from San Francisco band Citay. Inspired by their album title, the group also put together a writing project of the same name, where they encouraged fellow musicians to write about their dream get together in music, with contributions from the Antlers, Excepter, and Jens Lekman, which can be found here. Merrill Garbus of tUne-YaRdS not only wrote about her own dream get together, she got together with Citay on one of the album's tracks "Mirror Kisses." A slow-burning acoustic epic that drips with vocal harmonies and building guitars from some enthusiastic country version of Siamese Dream. Grab the track here. [Stereogum]
