Ciara: "Speechless" f. The-Dream
Beyond putting the kibosh on his stellar solo career, The-Dream's alleged retirement is going to be a tragedy because he's still going to be producing/guesting on tracks from the likes of Ciara and his wife Christina Milian. Tracks like Ciara's "Speechless," which are characterless slogs through down-tempo R&B that Dream is undeniably the highlight of. If you were to edit out the Ciara parts, you'd have a pretty solid track here, but it's still a shame that Dream is shelving his own career for stuff like this. You can hear "Speechless" over at You Heard That New.
"Speechless" is set for inclusion on Ciara's fourth album, which is produced by Dream and Tricky Stewart, and is due out later this year.
