Chromatics: "Kill For Love" (Video)
Chromatics’ “Tick of the Clock” featured on the lauded Drive soundtrack recently, which upped the band’s profile ahead of the release of its Kill For Love LP in January, 2012. A video for the title track from that new record has just been issued, which features some neatly distorted imagery that fits perfectly with the synthetic pop feel of the song. Initially there’s a treble-y, acidic feel to the track that gives way to an emotional tug at the midway point when banks of sweeping synths are introduced into the mix. And singer Ruth Radelet sounds wonderfully disengaged from the world when she sings “I’d kill for love” during the song’s chorus. Check it out below. [via GvsB]
