Chromatics: "Lady" (Video)
We’re only just done processing Chromatics’ cover of Neil Young’s “Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black),” but we’ve already got a new song to consider by the band. Italians Do It Better is clearly eager to show off the forthcoming Kill for Love, from which “Lady” is taken. The visual style here is in keeping with the aesthetic both band and label have carefully cultivated over the years, while the late-night electro feel of the song is easily going to appeal to anyone who discovered all this stuff via the Drive soundtrack. The limousine service used, fantastically named Auto Fantasy, even gets a credit in the credits on the YouTube page for this clip. Check it out below.
