Chris Brown, when he's not doing community service or pretending he can't remember beating Rihanna, is a musician, and he's trying to get back to that part of his persona with his new single, "Transform Ya." I don't know much, but I know those Transformers movies were total butt, so I don't know why aligning your musical brand with them would be a good move. But maybe Brown, and his collaborators Swizz Beatz and Lil Wayne, realize we all wish that he would transform into the Chris Brown we knew on Feb. 7, 2009, when he was a sort of innocent gum pitchman with a cute obsession of trying to be the new Michael Jackson.
