Chris Brown: "Apology" Song (MP3)
This is the Chris Brown apology you've all been waiting for. Okay, not really. There's no lyrics like, "Can't believe I touched you like that/happy I didn't have a baseball bat," or however you imagined a real apology would've sounded. There's some generic crap about another girl, and how "she didn't mean anything to [him]," and other standard R&B nonsense.What really matters though, is how does this stack up to the greatest apology song of all time? Unfortunately, Chris loses a lot of points by forgetting to include the year for which he is apologizing, specifics about "strip clubs" and "hot tubs" and neglecting to punch the ending of every verse with "damn, I'm sorry." Needless to say, I think Ruben's throne is safe.

I hope they give him the chair for what he did,,, and I'm a liberal.
