There are so many things going on in !!!'s video for "Jamie, My Intentions Are Bass" that putting together a cohesive write-up is a bit of a challenge. Per the song's lyric, singer Nic Offer wants to "put his flower in your vase," but in order to do so, he must chase a female (who I guess we can assume is Jamie) through a series of exclamation point-shaped portals that transport him to different places and situations. The band and director Saman Keshavarz manage to jam the clip with as many sexually suggestive things as possible, in addition to several shots of Offer doing his trademark arms-locked out to his side dance moves. It's all shot in a simulated one-take style that keeps things kinetic at all times.
"Jamie, My Intentions Are Bass" is the title track off a remix EP due out Nov. 2, featuring remixes of songs off Strange Weather, Isn't It? by Bibio, DFA's Tim Goldsworthy, Canyons and others.
